Brian and Scott - Hey you guys are making great progress. Brian I suppose it helps to lose weight by getting sicker than a dog for about a week.
I forgot to weigh myself this morning so I'll have to do it later.

Yep Cory, all that weight loss is being sick, haven't done any exercise for a couple weeks now.
Feb 25
Well I have had my first weigh in and it is better than nothing. Down 1lb, so now I am 214. Actually today is Feb 26, I forgot to post yesterday. But in the past 2 days I have done a cardio video for a half hour, that thing is actually a killer on the legs. Then today I went to the gym and ran 6.02 miles in 1 hour in intervals of light running at 4.6 miles per hour for about a min. To 10.0 miles per hour for about 30 seconds. FUN FUN!! Well we will have to see if it pays off next week, Gotta get back into football shape. So scott has an even harder time covering me.

Speaking of plateaus, I just read something on Yahoo about hitting that. It said you need to change up your workouts every 6-8 weeks, otherwise your body will just adapt. So it said if you're always doing flat chest presses with dumbbells, change it to incline or decline. If you're always running the same distance and time for cardio, change it up with intervals or something, just anything to wake your body up from doing the same monotonous stuff. It also said with weights, do each rep very slow, 6 seconds. 2 seconds going up, 4 seconds coming down. Seems really slow, but I'm sure it would be a very good workout.

Bri - I read that same article and realized I too have hit a plateau so I switched things up this week. I hope it works out. I've been hitting the gym pretty much everyday and my weight has remained the same the last 1-2 weeks, this must be the problem. I bought a Muscle and Fitness mag and it really has some good ideas to mix things up. Lets hope for the best.
