Well its been 3 weeks since I posted a pic. I wanted to see what difference it would be. Honestly to me I dont see much difference in the last 3 weeks. I was hoping for more definition. I have dropped about 5 lbs maybe a little more. I think I am going to start a few different exercises to try and get more definition. But at the same time I cant complain at all. I am in great shape and happy where I am. So if this is the best I can be. I'm totally happy. Especially being 35 years old. I never thought I'd be in this shape at my age. I feel young and when I play sports I can keep up with the youngins and often times they tucker out faster. I really believe endurance comes with experience in turn experience comes with age Very Happy

Well after looking at the pics You can see a slight improvement. Just need patience. I really want to be ripped right now Laughing Tired of waiting, but it just takes time and consistancy.
Im very curious what weigh in will be tomorrow. I've cheated (I mean I cheated in respects of stepping on scale instead of waiting until weighin) a little through this week and stepped on the scale a few times and I dont think I'll be losing as much as I did last week. But thats ok. I know in times past I averaged about 2 lbs a week.

Just gotta keep on keeping on.

Yeah Scott, I don't have a very good feeling about tomorrow either, even though I just ran 6 miles. I weighed myself this morning and didn't like what I seen. Don't get it though, you can look at my diet log and it doesn't look too bad, plus I have been running almost everyday. Oh well, the next week could be a great one.

Well I once again updated the pics. You can see a slight improvement... I think. It gets a little harder to see week to week. But you can really see the difference since the beginning.

I will say this. I started out at belt loop 5 and now I'm down to belt loop 3! So that is exciting. Also I can fit into my "skinny" suit. I havnt been able to wear it for about a year when we went on our cruise last year.

So Doing good. Still want to work on a little more definintion. But I am happy to at least be where I'm at now. cheers

Updated the weekly pic again. Not much different from last week. IDK I look a little skinnier but less tone the last week if that makes sense. At least thats how I look to myself.

Regardless it is far far far from where I began in January. I am very happy. I know this summer when I'm cutting the grass the shirt is going to be off to get some sun. lol Last year wasnt so proud to show the mini pillsbury dough boy. Very Happy

Things are coming a long nicely.

Once again updated. Belt loop 3 is real comfortable now. Not too long to belt loop 2. Maybe a week Im guessing.

Its amazing the difference what a few months make when you put your mind to it.

Whats really nice about this forum is I can reflect back on this in the future as motivation. Hopefully I'll be able to stick to eating right. Its really not hard and the longer I do it the easier it is.

Yes Corey, I tell you that was the greatest motivation for this round of getting into shape - posting the history of pics I had and remembering how good I felt when I was in shape before then wanting to get back there.

It really helped. So glad I did it again. Mainly in case I need it for the future. Hopefully not. But you know how life goes.

I agree with Cory, it would have been a good idea to take pics. I can really see a difference in myself. I think the thought of pictures of me with a gut just wasn't an option at the time. Oh well.

I posted my 8 week picture tonight.

Can see good definition from last week to this week! I'm oh so close to where I want to be. Very Happy

Man hard to believe its been 2 months already. Its amazing what a little effort and persistance can do in such a short time.

I hear its going to be almost 50 by end of week. Spring is coming!

Post  gointoscott Tue 31 Mar 2009, 10:45 pm

I updated the pic for this week again. I havnt done it for 3 weeks. As I said in the post I dont see much difference from 3 weeks ago even though I've dropped 5 lbs or maybe a little more. I was hoping f or a little more definition. But I think Carissa's home cooked meals make it harder then when I got in this good of shape the last time. I was single and eating at subway a lot and eating very low fat foods. I'm not eating a ton of fatty food or bad food. But I think that may have somethign to do with why the definition isnt as great as the last time I got in this good of shape.

But everything aside. I cant complain at all. I am totally happy where I'm at and basically at the point of trying to maintain without gaining it all back again.
That is the hard part because now that I can eat a little more I also tend to get the cravings to splurge. I know I can do it once, but then i want to keep doing it. So I have to really be careful I dont let myself go. I'm not in any danger right now because I'm still motivated, but at the same time I know me so I have to really watch it.

Anyway hope everyone else is still keeping up with their workout even though not too many are posting on this forum anymore. I keep posting for motivation and also I know sometime I may need the motivation again so I want to be able to look back at this and use it for motivation myself.
